The meeting will give you a chance to . . . . .

  • Hear from the experts:  members of Mobile Baykeeper, Alabama Coastal Foundation, GCCC, and other organizations dedicated to protecting the precious natural resources and ecosystem of the Alabama gulf coast.
  • Discover what makes our natural environment remarkably unique and important, as well as serious threats to its health.
  • Share your concerns with like-minded students and professionals about climate change as it affects the Mobile area, the country, and the planet.
  • Watch “America’s Amazon,” a documentary by journalist and author Ben Raines, about the Mobile-Tensaw River Delta.
  • Learn about volunteer opportunities to be a better steward of the environment.
  • Collect ideas and materials that will help you plan a rewarding agenda for your school’s environmental club.
