Season of Creation 2021: Collective Healing

The Season of Creation, which runs from 1 September through 4 October, is an annual celebration of prayer and action for creation that Christians on six continents have commemorated for year.
Gulf Coast Creation Care is planning a workshop series with the theme “Healing and Hope in a Time of Ecological Crisis.”
This first presentation, Connection creates resilience: How community promotes healing in a time of climate injustice, features sociologist and circle healer, Liz Moyer Benferhat, and will include information about collective healing for our complex times and an emotional mindfulness exercise.
Subsequent workshops in the series will include presentations by a forest immersion therapist, a panel of local physicians, and the co-director of Creation Justice Ministries.
