Youth v Gov. at the Ben May Library

Gulf Coast Creation Care will sponsor two free viewings of Youth v Gov. for Earth Day 2022:
Friday, April 29 at 6:30 pm (virtual event) and Saturday, April 30 at 2 pm (in-person at the Ben May Library).

In 2015, 21 young people ages 14-26 filed a lawsuit against the US Government in Juliana v. United States. The suit alleges the United States Government is negligent in not enacting effective public policy on climate change that will have an adverse affect on future generations. Youth v Gov. chronicles this landmark legislation.
