No Kings: Get Out the Vote

Participants will gather with their signs at the sidewalk in front of Government Plaza and there will also be information tables in Mardi Gras Park. FIBI will have a donation table accepting shelf stable food items, diapers, and household supplies for local immigrant families that have someone in detention.

National 50501 (50 protests, 50 states, 1 movement) leaders organize these pro-democracy, pro-freedom, pro-compassion, anti-cruelty nationwide demonstrations with our local Indivisible Mobile chapter.

Open Table supports an informed citizenry and encourages members to engage in activities that work to bring God’s dream to aliveness in our world: a world where all are treated with dignity and respect, where the vulnerable are protected, the hungry are fed, the poor are not taken advantage of, those in prison are visited, and all who are suffering receive compassion and sustenance.
