Africatown Mapping of Plateau Cemetery

Community members are invited to participate in a mapping of the historical Plateau Cemetery in Africatown. This event is being organized by Clotilda Descendent and Africatown elder, Anderson Flen. If you are interested in forming a team or participating on a team to walk through a section of the cemetery and cataloging gravesites on an electronic device, please contact the church office at [email protected] or 251-333-0435.
The teams will meet at 10 am on Saturday morning, September 16, at the Robert Hope Community Center, 850 Edwards St. in Africatown.
