September 26, 6:30 pm7:30 pm

Gulf Coast Creation Care member, Ran Nisbett, leads this September webinar for Deep Green Faith.

“Only the mountain has lived long enough to listen objectively to the howl of the wolf.” Forester and communitarian Aldo Leopold is a revered figure in American conservation and wildlife management. Marking the 75th anniversary of his book, A Sand County Almanac, we examine Leopold’s ‘Land Ethic’ as the “ethos stage” in spiritual development.
Richard “Ran” Nisbett is a tropical forest conservationist who worked globally alongside indigenes for three decades, Ran retired to the Mobile Basin biodiversity hotspot where he is restoring a bottomland hardwood forest and volunteering on water quality monitoring and phenological studies of climate change in a longleaf pine community.
This event is free and open to the public. A recording of the webinar will be sent to all who register.
