Carnival in Alabama: Chapter 2

During this Mardi Gras season, All Saints and Open Table adult education class will read Isabel Machado’s new book, Carnival in Alabama: Marked Bodies and Invented Traditions in Mobile.
This week, we will read and discuss Chapter 2, “Regulating, Controlling, and Sanctioning Revelry.”
