Carnival in Alabama: Chapter 5

During this Mardi Gras season, All Saints and Open Table adult education class will read Isabel Machado’s new book, Carnival in Alabama: Marked Bodies and Invented Traditions in Mobile.
This week, we will read and discuss chapter 5, “Queering Mobile’s Mardi Gras.”
