Feast of St. Brigid of Kildare Celebration
February 1, 6:00 pm—7:00 pm
All Saints / Open Table UCC and Gulf Coast Creation Care invite you to attend a celebration of Celtic wisdom on the feast day of St. Brigid of Kildare. Join us in the cloister at All Saints for a bonfire, hot cider, tasty treats, and a liturgy lead by Rev. Bob Donnell.
Brigid of Kildare is an Irish Celtic saint (ca. 451-523) who loves the Earth, reveals the sacredness of the feminine, midwifes at new beginnings, and extravagantly embodies compassion and boundless generosity toward the poor and those who seek refuge. You can read more about her in this chapter from John Philip Newell’s Sacred Earth, Sacred Soul.
