GCCC: The Way Home is Through the Forest

All are invited to a presentation on the upcoming Forest Therapy Nature Trail at 5 Rivers Delta Resource Center next Tuesday at 6 pm.
The Sierra Club of Mobile Bay has invited Gulf Coast Creation Care to introduce the concept of Forest Therapy or Forest Bathing at their October meeting in conjunction with the announcement of lower Alabama’s first Forest Therapy Nature Trail.
Using information from a Season of Creation webinar given in 2021 by Pat Homer, ANFT Certified Forest Therapy Guide, we will explore shinrin-yoku, a practice developed in Japan to reconnect humans with the healing power of nature.
Refreshments will be served at 5:30 pm in the entrance of the Tensaw Theater next Tuesday Evening, October 3rd. The general public is invited and admission is free.
