Sharing Our Journey: Two Witnesses to Jesus and Christ

Join us as we gather in the chapel to chime the hour, light the Christ candle, share our journey, and discuss chapter 15 of Richard Rohr’s The Universal Christ, “Two Witnesses to Jesus and Christ.”
This chapter is complimented by episode 9 of the podcast Another Name for Every Thing, “Peter, Paul & Mary, (minus Peter).” The link to this podcast episode is found here and below.
The first worship in October is also when we gather to contribute to one of the UCC’s four annual special offerings, Neighbors in Need. Open Table was a recipient of this offering in 2015 and 2016, receiving a total of $11,000 to create a safe space for LGBTQ+ youth, an effort that eventually became what is now Prism United. Please consider giving to this year’s offering.
