Update on Alabama Voter Roll Purges

The public is invited to attend the keynote presentation at the 2026 Annual Meeting for the League of Women Voters Mobile. After a short time of refreshments, outgoing President Rhoda Vanderhart will present her extensive research into how our current Secretary of State has changed the process for voter list maintenance in Alabama, as well as an overview of the access issues that occurred in the 2025 municipal elections.

In addition to reviewing state and national voter laws and the Alabama Election Handbook, Rhoda conducted interviews and conversations with:

● Probate Court employees Russ Davidson and Jennifer Fulton
● City Clerk Lisa Lambert
● Supervisor of Voter Registration in Montgomery, Candace Payne
