Wade in the Water: Poverty II

All are welcome to join our intercongregational gathering with Bethel AME for fellowship, education, sharing our diverse cultures, and refreshments. Because of the upcoming Memorial Day weekend, this month’s meeting will be held on the third Monday, rather than the fourth.

Please mark your calendars for Wade in the Water’s next monthly meeting, Monday, May 20, from 6 – 8 PM, at All Saints Episcopal Church, 151 S. Ann St., Mobile.

At this meeting, our own Shannon Shelley-Tremblay, JD, community and civic engagement leader, will continue the interactive presentation that explores the interconnected causes, effects, and implications of poverty in Mobile County and across our state and nation. We’ll discuss ways that we can make an impact at the personal, local, state, and national level.
